Define Factor for Calculation of Manuf. Lead Time
Explanation
Use this activity to define the factor used when calculating the manufacturing lead time for purchase parts. This mandatory
task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.
This activity requires that you define two recalculation factors. Factor 1 is used when the number of purchase order arrivals
is less than the interval number of arrivals. Factor 2 is used when the number of purchase order arrivals is more than the
interval number of arrivals.

System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- If the number of purchase order arrivals is less than the value in the Interval Number of Arrivals field, the Factor 1 value is used when calculating the manufacturing lead time in the
Supplier for Purchase Part window.
- If the number of purchase order arrivals is more than the value in the Interval Number of Arrivals field, the Factor 2 value is used when calculating the manufacturing lead time in the
Supplier for Purchase Part window.

Procedure
- Open the
Parameters for Distribution and Manufacturing window.
- In the Factor 1 for Lead Time Recalc field, enter the lead time number to use when the number of purchase order arrivals is less than the value in the
Interval Number of Arrivals field.
- In the Factor 2 for Lead Time Recalc field, enter the lead time number to use when the number of purchase order arrivals is more than the value in the
Interval Number of Arrivals field.
- Save the changes.
