Apply Changes to Cost Set

Explanation

Use this activity to apply your changes to a cost set for a specific part cost group, e.g., you can define a different cost template for the part cost group. Since such a change affects every part connected to the selected part cost group, you must be specific in applying any change.

Prerequisites

A part cost group with parts connected to it must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system applies your changes to the cost set for the part cost group. The changes affect every part connected to the selected part cost group.

Procedure

1. Open the Part Cost Group window.
2. In the Part Group ID list box,  select the part cost group for which you want to apply the changes.
3. Click the Override Template/Cost Set tab.
4. Right-click and then click Apply Template to Part Cost Group/Cost Set.
5. Click OK to accept the changes.
