Analyze Unit Level Cost per Lot Size

Explanation

Use this function to analyze unit level cost per lot size. If you are using lot size dependent routings, please note that the cost is analyzed per routing alternate. If you want to compare alternates, see also  Analyze unit cost per lot size and alternate.

Note: If part has a by-product, cost reductions related to the by-product will not be taken into consideration when unit level cost per lot size is calculated.

Prerequisites

• The total cost must be calculated.
• Lot size must be defined.

Procedure

1. Open the Unit Level Cost per Lot Size window.
2. Populate or make a selective query to display the part and cost set you want to analyze.
3. Enter the lot size to be used in the simulation in Lot Size.
4. Click Calculate.
