Create Sub Unit Templates

Explanation

This activity is used to design a compatible unit template structure by creating necessary sub unit templates. It considers connecting all possible sub unit template alternatives required by the different design geographical requirements. Right click in the navigator to change the status of either one compatible unit template unit or an entire structure.

Prerequisites

A compatible unit template status must not be set 'Released'.

A compatible unit template structure will be established.

Procedure

1. Open the Compatible Unit Template Navigator window.
2. Search for an existing record.
3. Click the Sub Units tab and create a new record.
4. Enter a value in the Template ID field.
5. Values for the Parent Template ID, Config. Family ID and Standard fields will be fetched automatically.
6. Save the information.

Note: Values for Config. Family ID and Standard are unique within the compatible unit template structure.
