Use this tab to define the disposition codes for a material review board (MRB) case. A disposition code defines the action required to make a part meet the standards of the MRB. This may include using a part as it is, scrapping a part, reworking a part, or returning a part to the vendor. When registering a disposition code for scrapping a part, the verify scrapping feature can be used. This will allow the MRB to check whether the part has been scrapped before completing the MRB case.
Note: Even if the Scrapping Verification check box is selected, the check will be performed only if the source of the MRB is a shop order.
