Use this tab to view the financial impact caused by a change. It will also display the summary of cost and revenue for any related sub orders that have been connected to this selected contract change order and the profit and margin for the complete change.
Note: There are two tabs where the financial impact can be entered for a contract
change order: Contract Change Order/Forecast or Contract
Change Order/Impact/Financial - This Order. Which tab to use is
depends on whether the contract change order is connected to a project or not. For
a contract change order which is not connected to a project in the header the
financial impact is entered in the Contract Change Order/Impact/Financial
– This Order tab. If the contract change order is connected to a
Project ID then the financial impact should instead be entered in the
Contract Change Order/Forecast tab which allows more advanced
functionality like e.g. spreading, multi-currency etc. In this case the information in the
Financial – This Order tab is only a summary of what has been entered in the Contract Change Order/Forecast tab. A
contract change order forecast entered in the Forecast tab can
also be connected in a selected project budget or forecast.
