Usage

Use the Configuration Search Assistant to search for on-hand configurations easily, without having to go through all available information on characteristics and choices of options connected to the configuration\configurations in focus. You can define a search on the basis of all discrete characteristics, variable characteristics and characteristic quantities.

Presented are:

• All inventory parts created from configurations
• All configurations matching the setup of the characteristics

The presentation is done independent of whether the part configuration revision is valid or not.

When the configuration search assistant is opened from a customer order line, it is possible to:

• Supply the demand through reservation
• Define configuration ID for manufacturing or purchasing
• Replace configured parts with inventory part created from a configuration

The search assistant takes you through this process step by step. You can cancel the search assistant any time during the process.
