This process is about selecting design or engineering information that has developed using an external design tool for exporting. It also includes exporting such information from a third party project database in a certain format, and to a specified location where that it can be further managed using IFS/Asset Information Integration Manager. This process can be achieved using a tool such as IFS/Tool Kit developed by Bentley Systems.
