This information encompasses design or engineering documents and objects such as Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), datasheets, equipment and equipment relations, created using external design tools.
Generally this information is then exported using a external export/import tool to a client location from where it can be further managed using IFS/Asset Information Integration Manager. After analyzing and making desired changes on the information using IFS/Asset Information Integration Manager, the resulting integration package can be imported to a client location again using the external export/import tool.
