Map Technical Attribute for Report Parameter

Explanation

This activity is used to define a technical attribute for a report parameter. Once the parameter for a report is defined, it can be connected to a Standard, a Class and associated with a technical attribute and its description. In doing so you can use the same report for many different types of design objects or design parts by mapping the report parameter to the class/technical attribute

Prerequisites

A parameter must be defined in Report Configuration/Parameters.

System Effects

The selected report will display all objects or design parts pertaining to the conditions defined using this window.

Procedure

1. Open the Report Configuration window.
2. Click the Parameter Mappings tab.
3. Click New.
4. In the Report ID field, enter a report ID or use the List of Values to select a report.
5. In the Standard field, enter a standard ID or use the List of Values to select the standard that you want to connect to the defined parameter.
6. In the Class field, enter a class or use the List of Values to select the class that you want to connect to the defined parameter.
7. In the Attribute field, enter an attribute or use the List of Values to select an attribute that you want to map to the designated report parameter.
8. Click Save.
