Define Item Inspection Authorities

Explanation

This activity is used to create item inspection authorities. The inspection authority show to which inspection authority the inspection of the punch item belongs. Examples of inspection authorities are: Commissioning Team, Client/Customer or Sub-contractor.

Procedure

1. Open the Punch List Basic Data window.
2. Click the Item Inspection Authorities tab.
3. Click New.
4. In the Inspection Authority ID field, enter an identity for an inspection authority.
5. In the Description field, enter a description of the inspection authority.
6. Click Save.  
7. Repeat steps 3-6 to define more item inspection authorities.

Note: The Obsolete check box can be selected, for an item inspection authority which is no longer used and cannot be used on new punch items.
