Register Business Analytics Reports on Class

Explanation

Use this activity to register and relate Business Analytics reports on a specific plant class. All published reports in Business Analytics are available for making this relation. However, it always recommend to select only the appropriate reports. It is also possible to set one of these registered reports as the default at a given time.

Executable reports such as equipment data sheets, equipments lists and bill of material reports need to be designed and published in Business Analytics as a prerequisite.

Prerequisites

IFS Business Analytics must be installed in the client. Business Analytics (BA) reports need to be designed and published in Business Analytics.

System Effects

Execution of Business Analytics reports on Design Object/s is limited only to registered reports on respective classes.

Procedure

1. Open the Class window.
2. Search for the class to which you want to register BA reports.
3. Click the BA Reports tab.
4. Click New (+).
5. In the Report ID field, select the report that you want to register with the class. The List of value contains all published reports in Business Analytics. Be vigilant to select only the appropriate Asset Design reports.
6. Report Title value is automatically filled in.
7. Click Save. The first registered report is always set as default.
8. If required, repeat the above steps 4-7 to register multiple number of reports.
9. Click Right Mouse Option and select Set as a Default Report in order to change the default setting..
